We're All Excited To See What Lady Gaga Has In Store For Her Super Bowl Performance

The Super Bowl halftime show is one of the biggest performances a musician could do. This year, Lady Gaga will be taking the centre stage, and we're all ecstatic to see how she will do. Last year, Coldplay was the one to perform, with two special guests, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. Who could forget Beyoncé politically charged performance, that got very mixed reviews by critics and viewers. This year, in order to avoid that, Gaga was asked to avoid being political during her performance, at all costs.

Gaga, who was an outspoken Hillary Clinton supporter, hasn't told anyone what songs she will be performing, or how political her performance will be. She has however, hinted that she won't shy away from showcasing any themes of diversity throughout her show, which has been a constant throughout her career. Gaga told The New York Times that "The only statements that I’ll be making during the halftime show are the ones that I’ve been consistently making throughout my career,” “I believe in a passion for inclusion. I believe in the spirit of equality, and that the spirit of this country is one of love and compassion and kindness. My performance will uphold those philosophies.” Which, in my opinion, is beautifully said. Whether Gaga will perform songs from her new album, Joanne, or stick with her original hits is all up in the air right now, nobody knows.

As for any special guests, people are speculating that Tony Bennett (who has collaborated with Gaga in the past) will introduce her, and, it would be no shock if Beyoncé makes yet another appearance (if she does, it will be her fourth). One thing that I think we all can agree on, is that there may be very extravagant and rapid costume changes. Anyone who has seen Gaga perform live before, whether live or on TV, can definitely agree. Under normal circumstances, costume changes are easy to do, but, the Super Bowl halftime show only lasts about 12 minutes, so it's hard to tell.

Whatever happens at the halftime show on Sunday, we are sure Gaga will do an amazing job. "I've been planning this since I was four, so I know exactly what I'm going to do," Gaga said recently. "For me, it's all about giving to the fans and bringing people together that wouldn't normally come together."
