Re-Make of 1990 Hit Movie "It" Coming September 8th

The first movie adaptation of Stephen King's horror novel "It" came to theaters in the year 1990. The fictional story follows a group of seven brave young boys and girls in the town of Derry, Maine, as they come together to fight Pennywise, an evil clown, who has spent much of his life hunting down and murdering, and then eating, yes, that's right, eating children.  The whole basis of why the movie was called "It," was because Pennywise The Dancing Clown, wasn't a clown at all. In fact, he wasn't even human, he was, an "it," a creature who can morph into different people to lure young children or teenagers to him.

Back in 1990, 'It' was considered a "scary movie," as one of the many genres it is listed under was horror, but, the first adaptation of the movie in 1990, which included stars like Tim Curry, and Seth Green, doesn't even compare to the new version, which is coming out in early September of this year. As the trailer shows, the new version falls more under the category of a "generic horror movie," as it is filled with a lot more gore, blood, and pop-up scares than the old version. However, a reason for the lack of gore in the version from 1990 could very well be that it was made originally as a TV series, so they weren't really allowed to include the blood and gore that they may have wanted to.

The new Pennywise will be played by Bill Skarsgård, a Swedish actor, who has been in big movies, like 2016's "Allegiant." As for what he thinks about his new role, Skarsgård had this to say to Entertainment Weekly: 'I've been doing some clown research..." He also talks about how he feels about playing a clown, saying 'He's not even a clown, I'm playing just one of the beings It creates..."

The whole world is super excited for this re-boot that's well past its due date, and all that there's left to do is wait until September 8th to see it in theaters.
