Top 5 Greatest Warriors of All Time

These are the top 5 greatest warriors of all time. 

5. Miyamoto Musashi is known for his incredible swordsmanship. Historians claim that Miyamoto was the best swordsman in the word. Since the age of 13 he was winning duels with his own unique way of sword fighting. He became well known for all those duels at such a young age. He created a style of sword fighting called Niten-ryü. He spent a lot of time mastering the two sword style of sword fighting and after he perfected that style he ascended to a mountain where he wrote the definitive treatise on the Zen of decapitation, which he titled it A Book of Five Rings.

4. Julius Caesar is known as arguably the greatest statesman and general in history and was the one who led Rome's army to many victorious wars. With his command Rome grew greatly in size and population. He later on wrote a book about his journeys and about his genius and bravery at war.


3. Leonidas of Sparta is one of the most well known warriors of all time. Leonidas was one of the most bravest warriors to ever exist. He led 300 spartans into a war with the Persians. Although he lost his battle and his men, he anded up doing much damage to the Persian army with his small army. The rumour has it that when all his men died he still remained on the battle field fighting versus 1000 Persians to his death.

2. Genghis Khan also known as the mongol destroyer was the second best conquerer in history. He led his army to conquering a quarter of the worlds population during his time. He's country loved him so much that they thought he was a gift from the gods. They called him the Holy warrior.

1. Alexander the Great was born in July 356 BC in Macedon. Alexander the Great is one of the most famous kings and generals of all time. Alexander was king of the ancient kingdom of Macedon after succeeding his father at the age of 20. An interesting fact about Alexander is that when he was young he was tutored by the famous philosopher Aristotle. During his reign Alexander lead his army and created one of the largest empires of ancient times, stretching from Greece to north-west India.
