Get Out is a 2017 American comedy horror film written, co-produced and directed by Jordan Peele in his directorial debut. The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival on January 24, 2017, and was released in the United States on February 24 by Universal Pictures. The film received praise for its atmosphere, writing, directing and cast and has grossed $42 million worldwide, against its $4.5 million budget.

The cast includes Daniel Kaluuya as the main character, Allison Williams, Catherine Keener, Bradley Whitford and many more. The movie is about a young African American man visits his European American girlfriend's family estate where he learns that many of its residents, who are black, have gone missing, and he soon learns the horrible truth when another frantic African-American warns him to "get out". He soon learns this is easier said than done.

The movie is rated R for violence, bloody images, and language including sexual references but it isn't as inappropriate as it is said to be. It has made a astonishing amount of money in the opening week and is on pace to make much more. The movie is 1 hour and 43 minutes.
