Four Left! Who Do You See In The Super Bowl?

With the recent win of the Green Bay Packers against the Dallas Cowboys, only four professional football teams remain on the road to the super bowl. The remaining four are the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, and the Atlanta Falcons. The Patriots will be playing the Steelers, and the Packers will be playing the Falcons. The Patriots will be playing the Steelers on January 22nd on Sunday, and the Packers will be playing the Falcons on the same day, but the Packers and Falcons will be playing first at 3:05 PM, and the Steelers and Patriots will be playing at 6:40 PM.

Both the Packers and the Falcons have a strong team. They both have défenses and great offenses. The Falcons have a great running game with Devonta Freeman at the back. They also have a good quarterback who is Matt Ryan. The Falcons also have a decent passing game with that amazing wide receiver, Julio Jones.. From reviewing the last game against the Seahawks, Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman will be the players to watch out for. On the Packers side, They have a load of amazing athletes. For example, the Packers have Aaron Rodgers, their quarterback, Randall Cobb and Devante Adams as their wide receivers, Clay Matthews as their main linebacker, Mika Hyde as their cornerback and Ha-Ha Clinton Dix as their free safety. These are all the players that the Falcons want to watch out for, especially Aaron Rodgers. It is also too bad that the Packers lost a wide receiver, Jordy Nelson.

The Steelers and the Patriots both have decent teams, but with the loss of their best tight end, Rob Gronkowski. What might give the patriots the edge is their star quarterback, Tom Brady. Since the Patriots have lost a strong key to their passing game, They would most likely rely on their running game. On the other side the steelers have three players to watch out for. They are Antonio Brown, Le’veon Bell and Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers are a very well rounded team with a good running back and a star wide receiver. This means that they have both a strong running game and strong passing game.

Orange is the New Black tells the story of Piper Kerman, a 24 year old lesbian woman, who starts a relationship with a drug dealer by the name of Nora Jansen. Piper helps her smuggle money across the borders to Europe. Piper then meets a man named Larry, and tries to leave her old life behind. But, unfortunately, her charges didn't get left behind, so she ends up in jail for 18 month sentence in the Danbury Federal Prison. Piper ends up making a lot of friends in the jail, and gets a lot of mail and visitors when most of the other girls in the jail don't. As Piper’s release date starts to approach Piper is called a witness in Chicago, so she has to fly to Chicago to testify against Jonathan Bibby, one of Nora's drug rivals.

2. How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother is an American sitcom that originally aired on CBS, then later ended up on Netflix. The series follows the main character, Ted Mosby, and his group of friends in Manhattan. As a framing device, Ted in the year 2030 recounts his kids the story of how he met their mother.

3. Pretty Little Liars

Set in the small town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the series follows the life of 5 girls: Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Alison and Emily, that changes when their leader and best friend Allison gets murdered. The friends were reunited when they began to receive messages from an anonymous villain named A, who threatens and tortures for the mistakes they made before and after Allison died. At first, they believe Allison is this mysterious “A”  until her body was found.

4. Supernatural

Supernatural is the story of 2 brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, as they follow the footsteps of their father, hunting evil supernatural creatures such as monsters, demons, and even fallen Gods while trying to save innocent lives along the way. Continuing the family business after their father’s death, the brothers soon discover that the hunt doesn't just involve slaying, slashing, and hacking monsters and demons but also dealing with more powerful creatures such as angels, reapers, and even death itself.

5. Family Guy

Family Guy tells the adventures of the Griffin Family. The father, Peter is not the sharpest tool in the shed, who drinks with his best friends almost every episode, and they do very idiotic things when they're drunk. He works at a brewery, and hates his boss. Lois is his wife that takes care of their kids. When people make her mad she, for lack of a better term, turns into a psycho. Meg, is an outcast teenager who is always made fun of by her family. Chris, their son, is an overweight teenager who inherited his IQ from his father. Stewie is a mastermind, genius, inventor baby, who excels in science, who hates his family. And finally, Brian is their talking, alcoholic, smoking, author of a dog who tries to start a relationship with every girl he sees.

Camera Woman That Tripped Immagrants Brought To Justice

In September of 2015, a video surfaced of a Hungarian camerawoman tripping fleeing refugees. In this video, she even trips a man carrying a little boy in his arms. People were ecstatic to hear that police were charging the woman with 3 years probation for her inhumane actions.

The Hungarian camerawoman's name is Petra Laszlo and the man she most notably tripped was Osama Abdul Mohsen, a Syrian refugee who was holding his seven-year-old son Zaid.

The reason why refugees are seen storming past police in the video is because they were breaking a police barrier at a temporary camp near the town of Roszke, on the Hungary-Serbia border. About 400 refugees from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan broke through the barrier.

It is said that this riot was caused by desperate conditions at the temporary camp where thousands of people had gathered on their journey to Western Europe.
While Mohnsen and his son Zaid had only stayed at the camp for a night, others had lived in the cramped conditions for weeks. Mohsen described the environment as, "caus[ing] anxiety and weariness to many migrants." The lack of interest, concern, or sympathy of the Hungarian authorities triggered the situation, causing the migrants to storm the police defences and walk their way to the nearby village, around three to five kilometres away.

Laszlo was soon fired by her employer a few days after the incident. Laszlo also apologized for her actions in a letter published by the Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet. In that article she claimed she was frightened when the migrants burst through the police cordon, and feared she would be attacked. In her letter, she mentioned,  "I am very sorry for the incident, and as a mother, I am especially sorry for the fact that fate pushed a child in my way. I did not see that at that moment. I started to panic and as I re-watch the film, it seems as it was not even me." Mohnsen's responded negatively to her apology and says that he does not believe her excuses and that karma would be the deciding factor of her fate. While Laszlo has experienced severe backlash for her actions, life has started looking up for Mohsen and his son.

Before the incident Mohsen was actually a soccer coach at a sports club in Deir Ezzor before leaving Syria. After the video went viral, his popularity landed him a job offer at a football academy near Madrid, Spain, and his son Zaid was chosen as a mascot for Real Madrid. He even had the opportunity to walk out on to the field at Madrid's stadium holding famous soccer super star Cristiano Ronaldo's hand.

Stand Up Comedy Clinic #1

      Stand up comedy is an art form where a comedian gets onstage and tells jokes to make an audience laugh. It's a very difficult and demanding art form that can be very controversial. This is because in comedy no topic is off limits. This is because comedy makes light of a dark subject. Today I'll talk to you about how jokes can affect personal relationships as they can often be a gold mine for jokes.

     I performed a routine a while ago and I told this joke "My girlfriend is a major sci-fi buff, I mean she loves that stuff. What do you call those people-oh yea Christians!" my girlfriend was in the audience. She spoke to me afterwards and said she didn't like the joke because it made fun of her religion.

    So you have to wonder where the line is to not tell jokes that involve personal relationships.What I did to fix the joke was I replaced girlfriend with friend to make it less obvious. This was not a satisfying solution because the joke lost momentum and it still made fun of a sensitive topic.  One of the problems with comedy is every joke you tell will step on peoples toes so you need to understand not everyone will be pleased with your content. If you are in a similar situation I recommend not taking your girlfriend to see your performance. 

      Something I've done is make jokes that involve personal relationships and make yourself the but of the joke. For example "My girlfriend and I walked over to an ice cream stand and the guy behind the stand asked would you like a soft serve, and she pointed to me and said 'No thanks I brought my own.' This is a good joke because it makes you the but of the joke and she looks like the comedian so it leaves your relationship intact.

    Another issue that comedians run into is where they limit their jokes because they know family and friends are in the audience. I know I've changed my set because my girlfriend was in the audience. If anything my girl looks like the comedy she came to a comedy performance so what do you expect. That's the trick you're at a comedians performance the comedians whole job is to make people laugh not to be politically correct and a nice little person. Nobody wants to see a comedian get onstage and talk about how he bought a button up shirt at sears today.

The 2017 Golden Globes Recap!

Jimmy Fallon hosted the 74th annual Golden Globes on Sunday night. The show had its variety of moments, some of which will sit with us throughout the next few months, others that will fall out of the cultural conversation by the end of the week. Here are some of the best, and some of the worst, from the star-studded night.

La La Land broke a Globes record by winning seven awards, including best musical/comedy film. In fairness, the movie seemed obvious to win that many considering it's an actual musical that takes place in Los Angeles and features Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling (both of whom also won their acting categories). Its director, Damien Chazelle, earned directing and screenplay awards to go along with the movie's Best Original Score and Best Original Song victories. Get ready: This is the start of having "City of Stars" stuck in your head until the Oscars.

After a montage displaying the incredible catalog of movies and roles to which Meryl Streep has lent her talent, the three-time Oscar-winner used her Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award speech to speak openly and honestly about everything but herself; namely, the climate that President-Elect Trump began starting at the beginning of his campaign. What followed was an amazing speech memorizing and identifying the non-American birthplaces of a handful of fellow actors to highlight their immigrant past and making an impressive statement for strong journalism in the years ahead, that quieted a intense room. She ended her lesson on empathy with a quote from the late Carrie Fisher: "Take your broken heart, make it into art."

After Mariah Carey's gaffe on New Year's Eve, wouldn't NBC double check that the teleprompter was functioning properly? Apparently not. Fallon laughed and stalled his way through a minute of awkwardness until a new monitor could be wheeled in. Fallon condemned Dick Clark Productions for possible sabotage instead.

In conclusion, the awards were something to watch with many amazing memories from this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

The Grammy Nominations Are Out!

The 59th Annual Grammy Award (airing Sunday February 12th, 2017) nominations have now been released, and the whole world is going crazy!

Every year, the nominations for the most prestige award in music are let out early, so people can react, love it, hate it, place bets, do whatever they want, and this year, the nominations are pretty amazing, if you ask me. The event will be broadcast live on CBS, and we all hope host James Corden of The Late Late Show will do the job justice.

Of the major categories, Beyoncé's Lemonade and Adele's 25 are each nominated for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.

Speaking of Album of the Year, arguably the night's biggest award, Justin Bieber's Purpose, Drake's Views, and, surprisingly, Sturgill Simpson's A Sailor's Guide to Earth were also nominated for the award.

In All, Queen Bey rolls in the most nominations with a staggering 9. Including Best Solo Pop Performance, Best Urban Contemporary Album, even, Best Rock Performance, for a song she did with Jack White. You name it, Beyoncé is nominated.

Right behind Beyoncé, in considering number of nominations, are Drake, Kanye West and Rihanna all with 8 nominations.  

Then comes in Chance the Rapper with 7 nominations, and Adele comes in right after, with a cool 5. Even though Adele doesn't have the first, second, or third most amount of nominations, her album was still one of the most anticipated of the year.

Hairspray Returns Live To NBC on December 7th!

The film "Hairspray" was a hit that was made in 2007. The film included stars like John Travolta playing "Edna Turnblad" Zac Efron playing "Link Larkin" and Michelle Pfeiffer playing "Velma" . Now, after a long wait, Hairspray is finally coming back after 9 years since its last production. New stars like Ariana Grande is stepping up to play "Penny" and we're hoping that the new actors do the job justice. The main character of the 2007 film was "Tracy Turnblad" played by Nikki Blonsky. The actor playing the 2017 "Tracy" will be Maddie Baillio. Now to talk about the new and improved Hairspray.

The premiere of Hairspray 2 will be held in Baltimore. The people that will be playing in the movie will include Ariana Grande, Maddie Baillio, Jennifer Hudson, Harvey Fierstien, Derek Hough, Martin Short, Andrea Martin, Dove Cameron, Garrett Clayton, Kristin Chinoweth, Rosie O'Donnell, and Billy Eichner. There will also be little cameos of "Tracy" from the first Hairspray who was Nikki Blonsky. There will also be a cameo of Marissa Jaret Winokur. They will both be playing  Mr. Pink's assistants. According to PlayBill, The costumes of the movie are really vibrant with colors, and according to NBC News, Jennifer Hudson will be doing an emotional solo. Also, The movie and Broadway show's signature song,"Can't Stop the Beat" will be in the movie.

If you want my opinion about the movie. I think the the sequel will be really good. The first one was a huge success and it was directed by Adam Shankman. Let us just hope that Kenny Leon, the director of Hairspray Live!, will be achieve the same success as the first one did in 2007.

J Cole's New Album - 4 Your Eyez Only

J Cole may be first known as Jay-Z's protege but he has emerged from the sidelines to become a Billboard chart topper. He was born Jermaine Lamarr Cole on January 28, 1985 in Frankfurt, Germany onto a European American mother and an African American father. He moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina with his mother when his father left the family.

 J Cole has recently been left out of the 2016 music conversation. Until today. Two months ago J Cole claimed that his performance at Meadows Fest in New York would be his last show for a “very long time.” No one really knew what he meant by that. But today a link was released saying he is releasing a new album on Friday December 9th called 4 Your Eyez Only. The album comes out exactly two years from the day that he released his last album. 2014 Forest Hills Drive. That album reached double platinum and broke so many records.

 Despite Cole’s claims of stepping away from the stage, a corresponding tour is a welcomed thought. His Forest Hills Drive tour sold approximately 565,000-575,000 tickets according to Cole’s booking agent, Rob Gibbs.      The tour generated multiple sellouts, including the 18,000-capacity Madison Square Garden, and grossed over $16 million from July to September, according to Billboard.

 Cole is one of rap’s more emotional artists since arriving on the scene, but it has often felt as if he slightly crosses the line between fully speaking his mind and keeping the peace. But according to his new documentary, he has few inhibitions as an artist and feels that now is his opportunity to spill his thoughts and let out his opinion.

“First of all, you get to this height or this level of your career, in terms of platform, who’s to say the next one, the next one might go down, it could go up,” he says. “You’re never guaranteed to be this high again. And while I’m here, let me use this opportunity to say the realest shit I’ve ever said.”

This parasite enters you through your skin or by being swallowed. When the bug is inside of you it travels through your blood to get to the lungs. There are three species of parasites that cause this infection, Ascariasis, Schistosoma, and finally Toxoplasma Gondii. So Rudolph’s nose isn’t magic, it’s a deadly infection.

Also, did you know that each year more than 3 Billion Christmas cards are sent through post offices and email? That’s insane! Christmas time is clearly the best time of the year for the post office. Only Christmas makes the business of post an average of over 1.5 Billion dollars! A third of the population of the World sends mail on Christmas. That’s crazy!

Also, If you have a Girlfriend or Boyfriend around the time of Christmas, you are probably thinking of an expensive gift to buy him or her, but did you know that Christmas time according to Facebook is one of the most popular times for breakups. For many reasons, such as not being what they want (as a person and as a gift),  not spending enough money on a gift for them, cheating…
